If you look at the human aura (energy field) it's the solar plexus chacra which stands for who we are and how we see ourselves in the world.. It's color is yellow and on the painting we see a yellow star emitting energy causing plenty red on the outside.. Red stands for misery, pain, war and all kind of distress happening on this planet..
